[BD]    Bio-digestion



Bio-digestion is a potential way to deal with the waste and sewage discharged to the lake.

[ENV] Environment

Amount of useful algae grows in Tunis Lake after the clear-up. Most of them are helpful to decrease BOD and COD in the water and take the waste as nutriment.

[TECH] Technological 
Bio-digestion is a series of processes in which microorganisms break down biodegradable material. It is used for industrial or domestic purposes to manage waste and to release energy. Much of the fermentation used industrially to produce food and drink products, as well as home fermentation, uses anaerobic digestion. In our project, algae will be the most important role in the bio-digestive process.
